Do you have Tennis Elbow?

* Recurring pain on the outside of the upper forearm just below the cubital fossa, and sometimes the pain may radiate to the arm to the wrist.

* Pain caused by lifting or bending the arm or seizure, even light objects.

* Difficulty extending the forearm fully (because inflamed muscles, tendons and ligaments do not want to bend).

* Pain that typically lasts 6-12 weeks, the discomfort can continue for as less than three weeks or as long as several years.

You realize that you've had problems for several months with these symptoms, but did not know there was a serious problem. You take an aspirin and some continue to be difficult to live and cope with the discomfort. Now you know that ignoring the pain that you caused damage yet than take longer to heal.

If you took the time to know the tennis elbow, you've been able to avoid the problem. There were specially designed exercises to strengthen the arm muscles used when playing tennis. If you had just this current process of prevention, you would have been able to do these before playing. Very similar to the stretching you do before you jog warm the muscles and prepare them.

So now you know what to do, but is it too late? It may be too late. You can start taking better care of you and make sure you're ready to play tennis again. Leave your original injury heal all the way, and not just when you think it is better, but after the doctor gives his approval for you to play again. Then, try warming the muscles first or wearing a headband around your forearm just below elbow. The additional support provided by the group can help or harm to ask your doctor for advice.
