Silk fabric Suitable for a Wedding Veil

Tulle: A very simple, transparent, with a net cloth sharpness. The best known and widely used fabric sail. This veil can be as simple or as decorated as you want. You can add a border of ribbon, Diamont scatter, leave plain. br />

CLOTH: very soft, fluid fabric that is heavier than tulle. It hangs right, but floats in the slightest breeze. It is more opaque than tulle then generally as a single Tier Veil with no blusher. This may be done with 2 levels if you wish. Chiffon veils can be finished with a picot edge narrow but you can have a ribbon or lace, if you prefer.

ORGANZA: It is simple and slightly opaque like chiffon, but much sharper. I managed to find a softer organza that is not so steep. Organza can crumble quickly if the sails are finished with a pin or close satin bias edge.

About the Author

I have more than two decades of knowledge and experience after graduating, in Fashion and Textile Design, from University of Westminster, London. Many of my friends asked me to design and make their wedding outfits including their veil to compliment and be part of their outfit rather than an addition to it. This has led me to specialise in designing and making couture Wedding Veils. I am probably the only Bridal Veil designer specialising solely in bespoke silk wedding veils. 
Previously I worked for 14 years as a Costume Designer for BBC TV in London and then Cardiff,  where I was nominated for a BAFTA Cymru for best Costume Design. After, I ran a successful Couture Bridal Design Studio using sumptuous silk fabrics and was awarded Fellowship of the Society of Artists and Designers.  I now concentrate fully on designing and making top quality, environmentally friendly, silk Bridal Veils.
